From the park bench to the office chair.
(1985, Argentina) Creative careers rarely unfold in a straight line.
In my twenties, I decided to become independent and make it on my own as an illustrator. After a stint as an illustrator's assistant, I found myself without work and unable to find a place to live. For a month, I lived on the street and slept on park benches.
I never considered going back to my parents' home and turning away from my dream. Even then, I believed I could still change my destiny. I found a way to contact the owner of the company I had worked for the year before. As luck would have it, he hired me again. There, I met amazing artists who are still my best friends today, and they encouraged me to enroll in university. Three years later, I received my graphic design diploma with honors, top of my class.
From 1990, I worked for companies across Buenos Aires, helping professionals grow their businesses through graphic design. In 2001, a financial crisis in Argentina pushed me to look for work outside the country. In 2002, I was hired by an advertising agency in Mexico. Two years later, I moved to the United States to build a new chapter of my life.
Today, seated in my office chair, I haven't forgotten that park. The grass was green, even then. People still sleep there today, thinking it's too late to change their lives for the better. I remain a proud donor to organizations that help the homeless.
That experience is part of why I still work every project personally, from first sketch to final delivery. When you hire me, you're not handed off to a stranger. You're working with someone who knows what it means to rebuild from nothing — and who takes that responsibility seriously.
Since then, I've built a career spanning over 25 years in graphic design, web design, and 3D. That includes creating the Cryo64 and OhMyIcons 3D icon series, recognized in the design community worldwide. I'm ready to bring that same experience to help you achieve your business goals.
Thank you for reading my story.
